"Divagation Vendéenne" montre mes errances dans le marais breton vendéen.
J’utilise pour cette série une ancienne technique de retouche japonaise des années 1920 - 1930 appelé “Zokin-Gake”. Cela apporte une certaine mélancolie qui m’a touché quand je suis arrivé dans ces marais. Le hasard a fait que je suis retourné près du lieu où j’ai passé une bonne partie de mes vacances d’enfant.

"Vendée's Drifting” shows my wanderings in the Breton Vendée marshes.

For this series as a printing method I used an old handmade Japanese retouching technique that dates back to the years 1920 - 1930 called "Zokin-Gake".

Together with the images and the "Zokin-Gake" it brings back certain melancholy that touched me when I first arrived in those marshlands.

As luck would have it, I went back to where I spent a good part of my childhood holidays.
